Scaling New Heights at the SAP SMB Innovation Summit in Barcelona
Aphix Software recently joined SAP Business One partners across the EMEA region to learn more about SAP Business One and the latest innovations for SAP Partners, at the 2018 SMB Innovation Summit in Barcelona
Aphix Software didn’t quite achieve the dizzying heights of Edurne Pasaban, World adventurer and mountaineer, and keynote speaker at the event, but we most certainly reached new heights, when we attended the 2018 SMB Innovation Summit in Barcelona last week.
The event brought together SAP Business One partners across the EMEA region and gave everyone the opportunity to learn more about SAP Business One and the latest innovations from the experts at hand, and just as importantly make meaningful connections with other SAP partners across the globe.
Partners were invited by SAP to learn, explore, connect, and be inspired. We were promised THE event of the year that will supercharge the SAP Partner Ecosystem to execute small to midsize business growth and success. And as a new SAP Silver partner, attending the event for the first time, we were not disappointed.
Unsure of what to expect, we were more than pleasantly surprised. From motivational talks, to informative lectures from industry experts for techies and non techies alike, to racing cars and photo booths; there was never a dull moment. We joined other SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign Partners to learn about the latest SAP product and technology innovations and industry insights affecting small to mid-sized markets.
And as an SSP, we had also opted to have a booth at the event for the three days and this really gave us the best opportunity to talk about Aphix Software with as many potential partners as possible. And boy did we talk! From the UK to the KSA, it seems everyone’s clients have B2B eCommerce and mobile ordering needs. With B2B growing at twice the pace of B2C, this is no surprise!
A new feature at this year’s event, and one we took full advantage of was the Demo Theater space. Attendees were invited to present their product offering with a live demo to their audience. Only a handful of partners took up the challenge, including Aphix. Our CTO Mark O’Reilly, with his talk entitled ‘Aphix Software - Helping B2B Companies Sell Smarter’ spoke about our true cloud platform, our eCommerce and mobile ordering solutions and most importantly their real time integration with SAP Business One; in the only way he knows how, with great passion and enthusiasm, resulting in real time opportunities with new partners.
We were kept very busy for the three days of the event, between our own stand, the Demo Theater, hearing from industry experts, networking with successful leaders, and attending tailored content sessions to help partners achieve new heights in 2018 and beyond.
We were also delighted to get the opportunity to meet with lots of direct SAP employees from all levels within the organisation, who came directly to our stand. It was clear to see they were eager to learn more about their Partners’ solutions, which was refreshing.
Back in the office reflecting on the event, we really were made to feel like we were part of a community, with potential new partners across the globe and a genuine initiation into the SAP Business One family. This is one partnership that we believe will drive Aphix Software to the next level and continue helping more than a few B2B companies sell smarter.
