At Aphix, we are committed more than ever to support and safeguard both our staff, customers, and partners during this time of uncertainty.
It’s by no means an understatement to say that our worlds have been turned upside down in recent weeks. Everyone’s personal and professional lives have been gravely impacted by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
Firstly, the safety and health of our staff and the ongoing support of our customers were at the forefront of all decisions we made as a company when this began and we will uphold that commitment over the coming weeks and months as events unfold.
Secondly, we want to assure customers that we are open for business as normal and fully operational. We are continuing to operate our support desk; new builds and customisations are still on schedule and unaffected, and our platform is as secure as ever.
Like you, we have had to drastically change how we do things. We have added ‘Work Smarter’ to our tagline of ‘Sell Smarter’ for the foreseeable. As a digital business, this was understandably an easier task than it would be for some. Many of our staff already work remotely from home and even on different continents. But it was still a huge adjustment to go from a few people working remotely, to the entire company.
Having the right technology and systems in place was paramount. Most of what we do is SaaS (Software as a Service) based and we have a softphone system where we could make and receive phone calls via our laptops already.
We have significantly ramped up our internal communication. Keeping in touch is even more important when you are not in the office together. And kids popping up regularly on conference calls has provided much amusement.
We are here to help our customers to adapt digitally at this time to both work and sell smarter. Whether that is some simple tips on how to set up video conferencing (including creating the best virtual backgrounds!) or how to maximise your Aphix product(s) to keep orders coming in.
Adapting our businesses now will stand to us all in the future beyond this event, as society is already shifting away from the typical 9 to 5 fixed location way of working.
In fact, your business is also already in a better position to adapt than others. You already have the Aphix SaaS Platform in place and integrated with your ERP. This is also the perfect time to encourage those of your customers who are still ordering manually to move online.
With the Aphix Digital Platform busier than ever, particularly in industries like IT, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Automotive & Parts, and Building Supplies, we will continue to support and help our customers to adapt digitally.
