Celebrating Our Success - Irish Minister Welcomes Aphix Software Partnership with the Sage Group
Ireland’s Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, Congratulates Aphix Software on our New Partnership with the Sage Group, During an Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Manchester.
Aphix Software had the pleasure to be invited, to celebrate our success, by Ireland’s Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, and Enterprise Ireland, at a trade dinner in Manchester, during a Northern Powerhouse trade mission to the area in April.
We were amongst four Irish firms who attended the trade dinner, as part of the Minister’s two-day Enterprise Ireland visit to Manchester. The visit was aimed to help Irish firms consolidate and sustain exports to the UK. And in Aphix’s case to acknowledge our recent partnership with the Sage Group.

After attending the Sage Sessions in Manchester that week to build on our new partnership as a Sage Developer and ISV Partner, we were delighted to celebrate this achievement and receive acknowledgement from Enterprise Ireland, and the Irish Minister alongside Andy Burnham, Mayor of Manchester.
The Minister Heather Humphreys commented that "Trade missions play a critical role in promoting the capabilities of Irish companies internationally."
"Ireland’s long-standing trading relationship with the UK is important and the trade mission to Manchester ... is focused on supporting Irish companies to consolidate and grow their exports to the UK," she added.
Business Development Manager, Joe O'Reilly, represented Aphix Software at the prestigious event, with Steve Cotton, Head of Sales - Partner Sales, for Sage UK and Ireland as his guest.
Joe commented at the event; "We are delighted to announce our new Partnership with Sage at the Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to the Northern Powerhouse. This demonstrates our commitment to growing our business in the UK and our partnership with Sage. The Northern Powerhouse initiative is an ideal opportunity for Sage and Aphix to launch our Partnership given the number of wholesale and distribution companies in the region - all of whom could benefit from our eCommerce cloud platform. What better a way to “Brexit proof” your business than by looking at efficiencies and growth possibilities by bringing your business online."
In relation to the new partnership between Aphix Software and Sage, Steve Cotton, Sage UK and Ireland added, "We are delighted to partner with Aphix Software as they offer our clients a true SAAS cloud-based platform that will allow our Sage 50, 200 and X3 customers to take advantage of digital transformation. Having real-time integration and online ordering will give our Sage customers a major competitive advantage and will help them grow their business online"
The Irish minister welcomed announcements like that with Aphix Software and the Sage Group saying they reflected "the continued and growing opportunities for Irish businesses throughout the UK and particularly in the Northern Powerhouse region."
Marina Donohoe, Enterprise Ireland’s Director of the UK and Northern Europe said: "The Northern Powerhouse has proven its powerful growth potential, now growing faster than London. It’s a dynamic region that needs dynamic partners to achieve its ambitions and Irish companies, who already contribute significantly to the UK’s economic growth, employing over 100,000 in the UK, are positioned to leverage the extensive business and partnership opportunities that the Northern Powerhouse presents."
To build on this celebrated new partnership with the Sage group we are continually looking to work with more Sage Resellers across Ireland and the UK and in particular in this promising Northern Powerhouse region.
